Living at home is different environment from living in dormitory. On the traffic, if you living at home, you have to get up earlier than whom living in dormitory. For example, I am living at home in HsinChuang(新莊) now, it is far from NTUST, if I take the public transportation to school, I need to spend 1.5 hours, but living in the dormitory do not. If I live in the dormitory, I can have more sleeping time.

Living in the dormitory, you will have to pay more expenses on food. When you live in the dormitory, you eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner outside, because you do not have kitchen in the dormitory, it is more expensive than you cooking meals by yourself. On the other hand, the meals you eat outside are also unhealthy, they are almost oily, salty and much more calories.

It the most important of all - the privacy, you have to share your room with your roommate when you live in the dormitory. Sometimes your roommates maybe do something and you will feel botheration, embarrassing, angry with them. For example, my friend often complains about his roommate, his roommate's snore disturbed his sleep every nights, it is really annoying. Unlike living in the dormitory, when you live at home, you have your own space; you can listen to music loudly, sleep lately, you can do anything you want without bothering anyone.

However, you can learn how to make a decision by yourself and how to live independent by living in the dormitory. It is different experience to living at home and in the dormitory.
