The most important advantage of refrigerator is convenient to keep the food fresh. Before the refrigerator was invented, people reserving food was difficult, because the food is perishable at room temperature. People preserved some kind of food, like fish, pork or fruit to store for passing the hard time. But the preserved food is unhealthy and not fresh. Than the refrigerator was invented, people can easier keep the food fresh for several days. You just put the food in the refrigerator, and close the door of refrigerator; the refrigerator will keep the food cool, the food is imperishable at low temperature. Another advantage of the refrigerator is "enjoyment". In the summer, people will store something iced in the refrigerator that they can eat or drink when they feel hot. It is an interesting part of summer life. The refrigerator is become a standard piece of equipment in everywhere, people will hard to live without the refrigerator.

Living at home is different from living in the dormitory. When it comes to transportation, if you live at home, you have to get up earlier than those who living in the dormitory. For example, I am living at home in HsinChuang(新莊) now, it is far from NTUST, if I take the public transportation to school, I need to spend 1.5 hours, but those who living in the dormitory do not have to do that like me. If I live in the dormitory, I can have more sleeping time. However, living in the dormitory, you will have to pay more expenses on food. When you live in the dormitory, you eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner outside, because you do not have a kitchen in the dormitory. It is more expensive than you cook meals by yourself. Furthermore, the meals you eat outside are also unhealthy because they are almost oily, salty and contain much more calories. The most important of all - the privacy, you have to share your room with your roommates when you live in the dormitory. Sometimes your roommates may do something and you will feel bothered, embarrassed, and even angry with them. For example, my friend often complains about his roommate's snore disturb his sleep every night. It is really annoying. Unlike living in the dormitory, when you live at home, you have your own space; you can listen to music loudly, sleep lately, you can do anything you want without bothering anyone. (final)Why did you choose your major?

The reason why I chose Information Management (IM) as my major was very simple - I was interested in computer science. I enjoy learning skills of computer and business knowledge in my school life.

When I was a junior high school student, I had a computer whose processing speed was very slow. But I learned a lot of basic computer technology from my slow computer. For example, my computer teacher taught me how to edit a homepage by using HTML and how to set up a computer. I liked to help my friends if they have any problems about computer. To help my friends, I learned more computer skills. The more skills I learned the more interested that I was in computer; therefore after junior high school, I chose Data Process as my major in vocational high school.

When I was going to graduate from vocational high school, I had to think about the future; what would be my major in college? I wanted to learn more knowledge, skill and technology. My parents supported me to make the decision, "You should choose what you like", they said. Without a doubt, I chose Information Management to be my major. Fortunately, I was admitted to NTUST by screening test and was able to major in IM.

In my college life, I learned many skills in computer and business. I like to use program language to operate the database, and apply to business models; it's the most important skill in e-Commerce. I want to use the skills that I have learned in the future. I am glad that I can study in the Department of Information Management in NTUST; I learned a lot of knowledge in the school.
